Tomorrow: The Making
A Create & Sip Gathering
Join me tomorrow at 7 pm EST as we spend some time creating, conversing, and being in community. The details and Zoom link are below:

There is an innate comfort in making things by hand in good company. For as long as we have made anything at all, we have made it together. In spinning rooms and sewing circles, around quilting frames, at kitchen tables… Community gathering and creating are in our nature.
So I’d like to add a gathering of a different kind to our little community here, one that lets us spend an hour together, chatting about anything and everything, while leaning into our creativity.
Bring whatever calls to you, and pour whatever you like.
When we gather, we will:
Make something together for an hour — painting, scrapbooking, sketching, crocheting, whatever your hands feel like doing. Bring a project already underway, or start something new.
Create in good company, with no instruction and no pressure. I am learning watercolor, so I will be painting. I’ll put a photo up on the screen for anyone who’d like to paint along with the same subject, though you’re just as welcome to do your own thing entirely. I am not an art teacher, it should be said.
Sip something while we work — wine, tea, coffee, whatever’s in your cup.
Simply be together. The whole point is the company, a break from our busy lives, and the opportunity to learn from each other while we lean into our creativity.
Our first gathering is on Wednesday, June 24th, at 7 pm EST.

This offering is for paid subscribers, and it won’t be recorded. Part of its charm is that it’s a live, come-as-you-can hour, a space held for those in the room. We will meet on Zoom for 60 minutes, and the link is posted below.
Afterward, I’ll share the reference photo for anyone who’d like to paint along on their own time, and we can all post what we made — whether you were with us live or not — in the subscriber chat thread.
